Help us celebrate the beginning of Octoberfest on November 18th, 2023. there will be a bookbinding class at Your Bindery.  The class is tailored to bookbinders of all skills.  In the morning we will make a personal journal by repurposing beer six-pack holders.  For lunch we will have Brats, Beer and camaraderie. (we will also have alcohol-free beer available.)   Then there is an option for making a paper slipcase for the journal in the afternoon.

The journals are sewn using an easy French Link stitch. The journal opens flat for easy writing or drawing. The pages are blank but I include a dark line guide that you can put under the page you are writing on to help you write in a straight line.  There will be a variety of journals to choose from.  The average size of a journal is 3 5/8” X 5 5/8”.

The journals are unique and also make great gifts. So come join us.

You can register now for the morning journal class. If you want to do the slipcase, you can pay the day of class.
